Services

We offer individual counseling, group counseling and substance use evaluations. All services start with an intake appointment where you and your counselor will decide which services are most appropriate for you. If therapy is part of your criminal justice requirements we will work with your supervisors to ensure that the services we are providing satisfy your requirements. More details on our services are provided below.

Individual Counseling
We offer individual counseling via both in person and virtual (online) sessions using secure and HIPAA protected online software. We offer counseling sessions in both English and Spanish. Individual counseling starts with an intake appointment and a substance use evaluation where you and your therapist will collaborate on treatment goals and a plan of action. If everyone is in agreement with the plan, then the weekly sessions will follow. Sessions typically will be for 50 minutes once per week. We offer flexible hours and scheduling that meets your needs.

Substance Use Evaluations
Substance use evaluations are used to understand a client’s substance use history and how their substance use is impacting their current level of functioning and ability to fulfill their roles. It is a key part of the assessment process, which informs diagnosis and treatment planning.  We conduct substance use evaluations both as a stand alone service and as part of our counseling services. We conduct court ordered substance use evaluations as well.

Results of the assessment can be used for personal reasons, as a tool for treatment planning and setting treatment goals, and to inform supervisors. Substance use evaluations can be repeated to also show progress in treatment.

Group Counseling – Coming Soon!
In the near future we will also offer relapse prevention and process oriented groups. Groups will be offered in person and virtually. Groups will likely be open and revolving. Once they are available, you and your therapist will decide together if a group would be a good fit for you. Group participants are expected to learn and follow all group rules. Groups are typically offered once per week for 50 minutes.
