Given that we are supported by funding from the Larimer County Impact Fund and Colorado State University, we are able to provide no cost services to individuals who are involved in the criminal justice system or who are under or uninsured and who live in Larimer County. If you have Medicaid, we will bill medicaid for the services we provide. If you do not have Medicaid, we will provide services at no cost to you. We may also help try to get you signed up for Medicaid. In order to qualify for these services, you must be a resident of Larimer County, be involved in the criminal justice system and/or be under or uninsured.
Individuals insured through Medicare are generally considered insured and are not routinely served by this grant-funded program. In circumstances where Medicare coverage presents substantial barriers to accessing outpatient behavioral and mental health services, such as because of high deductibles, significant co-insurance requirements, or lack of available mental health service providers, individuals may be considered functionally underinsured and may be served by the MARS Clinic. When adequate insurance coverage and participating providers are available, clients will be routed to appropriate insurance-accepting providers or alternative care pathways.
Please contact us with any questions you have about the cost of services.
